  • The 1970 football season was the first that Grand Haven and Mona Shores were in the LMAC playing 2 league games – 1 against each other and 1 other league game.  Both teams came from the defunct Valley-Coast League.
  • Chicago Mendel was an all-boys Catholic Prep School that was founded in 1953; the same year as Muskegon Catholic Central.  The school closed in 1988.
